Fall 2008 Service Learning Courses

The S.O.U.L.S. Community Service & Service Learning Center works with faculty and students in more than 25 classes annually to support service learning projects with community-based organizations throughout greater Boston. In classes as diverse as Introductory Spanish and Community Psychology, students engage in projects ranging from ESOL tutoring to soil sampling to serving the needs of the homeless.

Service learning at Suffolk takes a variety of forms, from coordinating events for residents at Boston Heritage Apartments (left) to constructing a community performance space in rural El Salvador (right).
