I still can’t figure out if I should be pleased or not.  We had our roll-offs tonight for first place and we took them easily.  I showed up slightly late and was rushed out of the gate, but I was dead on the first two strings, throwing a 144, and 142 respectively.  286 is easily my best two string total going into the third string I have ever had.  People all around me were talking about the elusive 400 game.  I only needed a 114.

I ended up throwing a weak 102.  I raised my high triple to a 388 which is nice and all, but I was right there.  I should have done it.  I feel like if I do it once and get it out of the way, the rest of those games will come more consistently.  I have been around it - but not this close before, until tonight.  I guess I should be pleased with the awards (season high triple, team high single, 1st place overall), but I would trade them all in for a lousy 401.

Almost there.
