Hello, 2013.

It’s official. Spring 2013 has begun!

After an entire month of becoming accustomed to free food, heat, and homemade cooking, it was surprisingly hard to adjust back to Boston life. But classes started this week, so it’s forcing me to get back into a routine. I’m both happy and bitter about this fact– I miss sleeping in!

I’m taking 5 classes this semester, in order to catch up with my credits and hopefully graduate with my class in 2014. They include:

• Advanced Computer Application in Design
• Computer Typography
• Ideas of Western Art II
• Graphic Design II
• Conceptual Typography

It’s really interesting to compare these classes to the ones I took this year. I feel a sense of freedom and creativity that I was lacking by the end of last year. All of the projects seem to be much more interesting and exciting, and I’m really looking forward to plunging head-first into a crazy year of graphic design at NESAD!

I don’t have too much else to catch you up on, as it’s only the first week back, but I’ll keep you posted on my classes and all my Boston shenanigans. My resolution for this year is to say YES; yes to new adventures, yes to new people, and yes to any opportunities that come my way.

2013, please be good to me!
