Adobe recently released Creative Suite 4 (CS4) which includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and more. We are not upgrading the interior design computers to CS4 until the Fall 2009 semester.

Adobe is now offering trial versions of its CS4 applications including Acrobat 9 Pro, Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, InDesign CS4, and Dreamweaver CS4. You will need to set up an Adobe account before you can download these 30 day trials.

I recently found Adobe’s Post Announcement Upgrade Policy which describes the procedure for getting a free upgrade to Creative Suite 3. It appears that customers who purchase Creative Suite 2.3 after March 27, 2007 are eligible for a free upgrade to Creative Suite 3 when it ships in April.
