Fui al espectáculo de Flamenco. Nunca había visto Flamenco, pero me encantan los bailes hispánicos y de todos tipos. Estoy muy feliz que fui al espectáculo porque era fantástico y aprendí mucho. El espactáculo se llamaba “Ida y Vuelta” con el director y la bailarína Guadalupe Torres, el bailarín José Maldonado, el guitarrista Luis Miguel Manzano, el músico Diego Villegas y los cantantes José Anillo y Francisco Luis Trinidad Ángel.
Me divirtió la música muchísimo porque era tan rítmica y los músicos eran maravillosos. Todos los intérpretes tenían muchísimo talento. Los cantantes cantaban con mucha emoción. Aprendí que la música de Flamenco tiene muchos gritos y canto guturral. A veces, los cantantes parecían como si estuvieran llorando. El bailarín era muy guapo y cuando bailó, tenía que mirar. El guitarrista era muy importante para el programa. El guitarrista proveyó la base de la música con sus ritmos y melodías. La música de la guitarro parecía muy difícil y muchas veces muy rápida. Uno de los músicos tocaba instrumentos diferentes: la flauta, el saxafón soprano y la armónica.
Para mí, es muy impresionante cuando alguien puede tocar instrumentos diferentes, especialmente tan bien como él. La bailarina central era buenísima. Ella bailaba con confianza, ritmo, fuerza y pasión. Me gustaba mucho cómo los ritmos de sus pies y la música creaban capas intricadas. ¡El espectáculo era muy interesante y fenomenal!

El día que mi perro desapareció

Siempre quise tener un perro.
Cuando era pequeña, tenía muchos animales domésticos como un hámster, dos conejos y un loro. También tenía un gato que se llamaba Kicia pero nunca en mi vida había tenido un perro. Mis padres siempre decían que tener un perro es una gran responsabilidad.
Un día, unos días antes de mi décimo primero cumpleaños, mi mamá me dijo – Quiero regalarte un cachorro para tus cumpleaños este año. ¿Qué opinas tú?
-¡Sí! ¡Sí! ¡Quiero un cachorro! – respondí. No podía creer que por fin iba poder tener un perro.
Cuando el día de mis cumpleaños llegó, fui con mis padres y mis hermanos a la casa de una mujer que tenía cachorros de Yorkshire Terrier. Decidí que quería tener un perro pequeño porque cuidar de un perro muy grande es más difícil y presenta más dificultades y responsabilidades.
La señora tenía cuatro cachorros y todos parecían felices y preciosos. No podía decidir cual quería. Me encantaban todos los cachorros pero solo pude elegir uno.
Uno de ellos parecía muy simpático y pensaba que me gustó a primera vista. Su pelo era de color marrón y negro y tenía unas orejas que eran demasiado grandes y por eso parecía tanto más precioso. Decidí que quería este cachorro.
-¿Cómo quieres llamarle? – me preguntó mi madre.
Estuve pensándolo durante unos minutos y al fin respondí – Pienso que Cleo es un nombre muy bonito y perfecto para él.
-¡Bueno. Bienvenido a nuestra familia Cleo! – dijo mi mamá.
Unos meses después, teníamos problemas con las tuberías en mi casa. Unos trabajadores fueron allí a reparar estas tuberías. La puerta estuvo abierta por todo el día y la gente estaba caminando de un lado al otro durante el día.
Vivía en una casa con un jardín muy grande y cuando hacía buen tiempo mi perro corría allí todos los días.
Ese mismo día que los trabajadores estaban reparando las tuberías de mi casa, volví de la escuela pero cuando fui a buscar a mi perro no pude encontrarlo. Fui al jardín y no estaba allí tampoco. Lo busqué a él por unos minutos pero no pudo encontrar al perro. -¿Dónde está Cleo? –Le pregunté a mi hermano.
-No sé – respondió – pero hace unas horas que no lo veo.
Empecé a preocuparme. Le pregunté a toda la gente en mi casa cuando habían visto a mi perro por última vez. Nadie había visto a Cleo. Busqué un poco más y hablé con mis vecinos. También preparé unos carteles con la foto de Cleo y mi número de teléfono. Tendí los carteles en mi barrio y le pregunté a la gente en las calles si habían visto a mi perro pero nadie lo había visto. Necesité parar de buscarlo porque tenía clases particulares de alemán. No quería ir pero tenía un examen de alemán muy importante el próxima día.
La profesora vivía muy cerca de mi casa. Cuando entré a su casa ella me preguntó que pasó. –Mi cachorro desapareció – respondí y empecé a llorar –La puerta de mi casa estuvo abierta por todo el día y pienso que salió y ahora no sabe cómo regresar.
Ella trataba de consolarme pero no podía parar de llorar.
-¡Tengo una buen idea! – me dijo la profesora – Pienso que podemos saber dónde está tu perro.
Salió del cuarto pero regresó antes de un momento. Tenía un pequeño péndulo en su mano. Escribió esto con tinta negra en una hoja de papel:
¿Va Aleksandra a encontrar a su perro Cleo?
También escribió no y sí lado a lado en la misma hoja de papel. Ella empezó a mecer el péndulo que se movía por la dirección de sí en la hoja de papel. – Bien… – dijo mi profesora.
Escribió: ¿Está Cleo, el perro de Aleksandra vivo? en una hoja de papel diferente.
El péndulo se movió por la dirección de no en la hoja de papel.
No sabía que decir. No me podía concentrar. Regresé a mi casa y busqué a Cleo más. Decidí que necesitaba encontrar a mi perro, vivo o muerto.
Fui con mi amiga Olivia por las calles cerca de mi casa para buscar a Cleo. –No te preocupes… Cleo está vivo. Estoy segura que lo encontramos – me dijo ella tranquilamente.
De repente vi una bola de pelo de color marrón y negro en la acera cerca de la calzada. Corrí a este lugar y vi que en realidad esta bola de pelo era Cleo. Empecé llorar y exclamar – ¡No! ¡No! ¡Cleo está muerto!
