In order to ensure that your files open and are displayed correctly when creating them using Office 2007 and opening them with an older version version of Office, you must save them in the correct format.
When saving the file you want to use on an older version, click “Save As” and then select “97-2003″ as the format that you save your file as.
This process works the same way for any program you use in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.) This will ensure that your file will open and appear exactly how you want it to on the older version.
